Be Moved Studio
At 2 E. 7th Street, this is a great downtown Lawrence studio. Be Moved has lots of diversity in teachers and yoga styles. Space is  beautifully serene and prices are often on a sliding scale. Laid back, nurturing atmosphere. Classes are constantly being added and evolving, check the web site often.

Yoga Center of Lawrence
an Iyengar based center that focuses on alignment and the balance between strength and flexibility. Lots of class options and the only center in town teaching Level II classes. $15 drop-in rate.

Lawrence Athletic Club
offers yoga to non-members for $5 drop-in rate. It's a gym setting with all the amenties and the price can't be beat.

Body Boutique
$10 drop-in rate for non-members. Limited classes, but the comfort of women-only setting. Some classes have added benefit of fusing yoga and pilates.

Third Planet
846 Mass St. This is a great place for yoga accessories. They have incense and candles for meditation, woven blankets to use as props and items to decorate your sacred space. The staff is friendly and they sell local as well as fairly traded items.

Every Sunday
Maya Yoga in KC. Put your yoga dollars to good use!  Australian Drew Corrigan teaches a donation based class to benefit Central Asia Institute every Sunday in this central KC studio.

 

Third Tuesday of each Month

Pranayama class with special permission of teacher Gopi Sandal, of Bhaktivani Yoga Center in Baldwin City. The class is held here at Kansas Zen Center, 1423 New York Street, here in Lawrence.
