Meet Breathe Teachers and Healers
Melissa Mitchell
Owner/Director.
My passion in life is to help you connect and lead your best possible life. Yoga changed my life and ever since I began teaching in 1999 I've wanted to help the community heal, balance and live passionately. Because that is what yoga did for me. Yoga has been a powerful part of my journey, helping me get in touch with my deepest desires, helping to heal my pains and teaching me who I am. Yoga has opened me, expanded me, stregthened me and centered me. I cannot be who I am without yoga. Since almost the beginning, it has been my dream to bring together a group of healing professionals from different disciplines to work together and inter-dependently, to support each other and enrich each other. Breathe is my dream come true. I am truly blessed to work with such a gifted, fun, supportive and lovely group of women. I hope you find them as nurturing, encouraging and wise as I do.

Hi! My name is Joanie and I am excited to have the amazing opportunity to share the wonders of yoga with you! My focus is to provide a nurturing environment where my students can safely develop their body awareness and experience personal growth, freeing themselves from limitations on and off the mat. I always try to make my classes fun and enjoyable, because I believe that this is what life is about! Come share some good times with me and discover your higher potential through various yogic practices including asanas, pranayama, meditation and chanting.

Beth Murphy
I have held many jobs, from laboratory technician to administrative assistant to Youth and Family Education Director at a Unity Church - plus my most important job, being Mother to my 2 beautiful daughters.
I started out college as a science major, studying math, chemistry and physics. I was especially captivated by everything I read about quantum physics and the concept that matter is just energy - WE are energy. Years later, when I was introduced to energy healing, and even began to see results in myself from energy work, I would not allow myself to believe it until I read scientific studies proving its validity. But once I allowed my mind to accept what I was experiencing, I never looked back!
I met Joey Klein in 2004, and immediately knew that I had found my Teacher. I began studying and applying spiritual teachings, meditation, and techniques to recognize my own patterns of thoughts and emotions and to change them when they were not aligned with my highest ideals. The more I studied and began to apply the principles in my life - the more I focused on simply transforming myself into a better person- the more I began to notice transformation in the people around me. My whole world began to look better and better. So when Joey founded the Institute of Transformational Studies in order to teach his powerful form of energy work - now called Neshamah Healing - I knew I had to take every workshop I could and work to become a certified practitioner. I find my greatest joy in serving others, and I also wanted to own my own business, so this was a perfect way for me to do both.
I continue to study with Joey Klein and ITS. I am dedicated to deepening my spiritual practice; raising my children to embody wisdom, strength and compassion; and serving the community as a Neshamah Healing Practitioner through ITS Global Charities and my private practice, Soul Work.
In Peace,
Beth
